Our Music Ministry Ensembles
Christ United Presbyterian Church Music Ministry is a diverse group of talented musicians who gather together to praise God through music and inspire our congregation every Sunday. Here at CUPC, we have one of the most vibrant, powerful, and uplifting music programs in San Diego. Our program is rooted in sacred music, led by the Holy Spirit, with a gospel flavor.
Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir is our Soprano Alto Tenor Bass (SATB) choral worship ensemble, led by William BJ Robinson. The choir sings a variety of anthems, hymns, and spirituals; and the ministry continues in these distanced times. Currently, rehearsals are conducted over Zoom. Using methods involving tracks, choir members recording themselves and voices are compiled for virtual services. Praise Team
Our Praise Team sings every fourth Sunday. They bring a unique spirit of worship and praise to our music program.
Annual Concert Series
Christ United Music Ministry produces a series of concerts every year. This includes our highly acclaimed production of Handel’s “Messiah” performed every second Sunday in December. The Concert Series includes various performances by our chancel choir and other outside ensembles from the San Diego community. We are always seeking support for our Concert Series and all donations are welcome. You can give during any of our Sunday morning worship services.

Mens Chorus
Our Mens Choir sings every 5th Sunday and fathers day. What a joy it is to hear our men sing together!
